You’re on my mind . . . again. You’re in my thoughts and in my heart . . . in the recesses of the memories of my soul. This time surprises me not; from the minute I saw you I knew you would be back once more. History repeating itself it seems . . . over and over again. I’ve gotten used to it by now. I can’t shake the feeling and honestly no longer try . . . I need not know the answers now or the reasons why. I allow myself the freedom to be, while wrapped in the dream of you.

Optimistic.
Stimulated.
Loved.

But as I sit here, feeling all of that and more . . . I know deep down inside it really isn’t you, or you, or you; or any of you. I wouldn’t be feeling this if it were. I would be breathing it instead . . . with you, and only you.
